2.1 Dragon Park

Dragon Park is the first park in Asia managed by Parques Reunidos group. Proud to be a modern amusement park with many of the world’s leading thrilling games, high-level adventure games, giant roller coasters or new challenging models . Dragon Park has brought curiosity and visualization of a giant world for Dragons. New game models with high-level challenges with typical examples include the rollercoaster, Monster Spin, and more.

There is an increasing number of buses running from My Dinh Bus Station to Bai Chay Bus Station and Ha Long City on Hanoi- Halong  highway. The distance between Hanoi center and Sun World Halong Park is 152 kilometers, which takes a little over 2 hours to travel by Car. From My Dinh Bus Station, you can buy a ticket to Halong for 100.000 VND to around 200.000 VND.

If you are traveling from Hai Phong center, you can get to Sun World Halong Park in an hour. It is only 2.5 kilometers away from Bai Chay Bus Station in Halong City, a short route. You can book a taxi at any time upon arrival and get to Sun World.

5. Best time to visit Sun Word Halong

The best time to visit this area is from August to October. Here are some things that you should consider for each season: 

• Summer (May – July) is the vacation season for every family. The weather is very beautiful, soft white, cool breeze. However, this is the time when many tourists visit Ha Long, so if you go to Sun World Ha Long Bay at this time, it will be very crowded, many hot games will have to wait in line.
• Fall (from August to October): when you come to Ha Long, the weather is pleasant, you can swim and visit, and have fun without fear of harsh sunlight. Going out to Sun World Ha Long amusement park right now is the best time, the services are still open, no games are closed as well as not too crowded so it’s very convenient to explore.
• October – April next year: this is winter time so the water park is closed, if you go during this time you will not have the opportunity to experience water games
