  • Ancient automobile: The blue ancient automobile beside the lake is a favorite check-in destination for visitors.
  • Other architectural works: In addition, there are many architectures such as areas for children, restaurants, and relaxation areas. Currently, this architecture is badly damaged and can not be visited.

Khai Dinh Tomb is located on Chau Chu Mountain, Thuy Bang commune, Huong Thuy, Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam. The Tomb is the final resting place of Emperor Khai Dinh, the twelfth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1916 to 1925.

The Tomb is renowned for its unique architectural style and its historical significance as the last imperial tomb built in Vietnam. The tomb’s construction began in 1920 and took 11 years to complete in 1931. The mausoleum combines Vietnamese traditional architecture and Western features such as Roman and Gothic architecture, statues, and reliefs of European style and uses many modern materials like cement, steel, etc.

The Khai Dinh Tomb was recognized as a National Monument in 1979 and one of the most popular destinations in Hue City. This place preserves many substantial historical artifacts and makes a great contribution to recreating the life and reign of Emperor Khai Dinh.

5.2 Vong Canh Hills

Vong Canh Hills is situated in the middle of the area between Thuy Xuan and Thuy Bieu, Hue City. The place is also known as the ‘eyes of the ancient gods’ because the top of the hills can get a bird’s eye view of the city with a snake on its way across the Perfume River, formal mausoleums, and stunning mountains. 

The Hills are known for the Nguyen Dynasty when Emperor Minh Mang began building the Hon Chen Palace on the northern banks of the Huong Rivers. Emperor Minh Mang walks along the Vong Canh to look at and write a poem on a regular basis. The hills also performed many important historical events in the Nguyen Dynasty.

The Vong Canh Hills possess the beauty of sentient nature with the sky, clouds, mountains, and water. Visitors can glimpse into the beauty of Hue City from the top of the hills, especially sunrise and sunshine.

5.3 Thuy Xuan Insence Village

Thuy Xuan Incense Village is located on Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street and is approximately 7 km from the center of the city. The village is known for its traditional craft of incense making it, a vibrant cultural destination.

The Statue is a unique Buddha architectural work that brings Vietnam’s culture. The statue is made of reinforced concrete, with a white paint layer on the outside. The Standing Buddha Statue was recognized as a National historical-cultural Monument in 2008.
