About 8:30 AM: We will pick you up at your hotel by a cyclo and transfer you to a local market - Dong Ba Market.
Arrive at the bustling market. We will take you on a tour, and introduce you to the various ingredients that are essential to Hue cuisine. You'll learn about local vegetables, herbs, spices, and other ingredients, and you may have the opportunity to purchase fresh items for the cooking class.
After the market tour, you’ll be driven to a local restaurant and join a “cooking class”. Under the guidance of the chef, you’ll chop, marinate, and cook the ingredients, following traditional methods. The chef will provide tips and tricks, and you'll get to ask questions as you cook.
Once the cooking is done, it’s time to sit down and enjoy the meal you’ve prepared and our chief will be able to give her feedback on your chef skills. This is a great opportunity to taste the rich flavors of Hue cuisine. Then you will have a great time relaxing by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice.
